I’m looking for a new pair of golf shoes, and Boomer has reccomended Hi-Tec’s Custom Comfort Shoes, which he’s using and swears by in terms of comfort. I currently use Nike shoes, but unlike their runners I’ve found them too tight and too thin. For me – a course walker whenever possible – comfort is absolutely everything, and sore feet have ruined more than one round for me as I’m just ready after 15 or 16 holes to get the hell off the course. Since Edwin Watts Golf is having a close-out on them HERE [and I've linked them to the right there], I’m going to spring for a pair. That’s a good price, even in US dollars. I’m having trouble logging in, so if that site gives me trouble I’ll take it off, but it appears to be a pretty complete website.
Kev’s also handed me a new PureFit DCV driver with an Accuflex Evolution shaft. It’s *fantastic*. I have to admit that I did not think shafts made all that much difference for a duffer like me, but I am barely touching the ball and it’s going a mile. It’s a regular stiffness, so I get around on it when I need to, and Kev’s a cool guy for having attached the DCV head to it [I'll have your money this week, Boom-Boom, plus a gift for you. Ha-HA!]. You have to check out the Accufkex Evolution, kids – go to your retailer [Adrenaline Golf!] and ask to hit a driver with this shaft. No, seriously.
Also, I’ve had my Cleveland extended to an inch and a half, and a new Adams Tight Lies sand wedge lengthened to the same. Here’s my new “What’s In The Bag“:

TIGHT LIES: Golf Dream is gone, so I’ve unlinked it. I guess BJW gave up his dream; that’s too bad. Best of luck to him. Also, I gave Liam – my seven year-old stepson – a set of clubs for Christmas, and I’ll start his lessons at the golf dome this week or next, when I’ll hire on a guy there to teach him the things I clearly can’t. He’s so excited… and his Butler kid’s golf set is really pretty cute. They give you a nice bag, a driver, a 3-wood, a 7-iron, a wedge and a putter for $100 Canadian. Can’t beat that!

I notice, somewhat cynically, that my “what’s in the bag” although updated ages ago, still has not made it onto this site. Hmm, I say, ha- HA!!
Other than that critical note, I do thoroughly support BC’s praise of the products here. My feet love my shoes, my swing loves my Shaft, (whoa, hey Pally) and my game is better for it.

Might I also add that the EVO shaft plays a little stiff. Meaning that if you like a firm shaft, as I am sure we all do, whoa, hey now pally!!, you should install a regular shaft, firm = stiff, stiff = extra and so on and so forth.

And yes the Evo plays stiff. I have an Evo Lite and they are much better.
I have a set of the idRaw wedges on the way. They are shafted with Accra Tour Steel 6.0 which may be a bit stiff for me, but we’ll see.
I also just picked up a set of SMT CB1’s (4-PW) and a set of Tour Flighted Rifles in 5.5. These puppies are going into my Wishon 560MC’s. Don’t know what I’m gonna do with the CB1’s. I already have a back up set (Raven 231i/Mercury Stepless steel), and a backup backup set, (Innovex RLS/FSTProwhite).
I am such a junkie…forgive me, for I have ho’ed…. :-)

I have such a good guy for clubs right now that I seldom look elsewhere, but, I too am a Golf Ho, so…
I love the ID Raw wedges. I have been playing them since late last season, and for the money, they are way better than even the Y Cutter by Taylor Made, which, I also have… HO!!!!!
I love the Rifle shafts, I have those in my RAC MB’s, but I will tell you, the Hogan 3/4 shafts are very nice too.
I have been fiddling with new grips lately, and have landed on the Golf Pride MCC grips. Really nice feel, but I do like the Accuflex grips as well.
Are you a golf club maker perchance? You would be a great pimp for these two ‘ho’s to know. LOL :-)

I am a hobbyist maker. For friends and myself. I really don’t make any money off them. I have a swingweight scale and shaft extractor and a few ofther tools, but nothing like a loft/lie machine.
My wedges should be here soon. The SMT’s are used (about 7 rounds and some range time) and are 4-PW. If you want them, I can sell em to you. I don’t think I have a real use for them. They were part of a package deal I got.
When they arrive, I’ll let you know.
